Garlic Glazed Salmon

Ingredients
about 1 kg (2 pounds) of salmon, sliced into large pieces
3-4 cm ginger, minced
7 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup water

Preparation
1. In a small sauce pan add everything but the fish and cook over low heat for 20 minutes until ginger and garlic are cooked and the glaze is thick.

2. Preheat oven to 180 C (350F).
3. Preheat a large frying pan over medium heat. Season the salmon lightly with sea salt and black pepper. Add a splash of olive oil into the pan and sear the salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side, skin down first.

4. Place the salmon in a baking pan and spoon the glaze over every piece. Bake for 10 minutes.
